I was born and raised in Colorado. Every Summer, Christmas Break, and Spring Break vacationers would flood the state and inevitably they would whine about the altitude and how tired it made them. In my head I would scoff at these people. I mean, come on. It's not that high.
Well, at Kaitlin and Richard's Wedding on Hoosier Pass near Breckenridge, Colorado (which sits at 11,535 feet mind you), I got a taste of my own medicine. It appears since moving to California and sea level, I have become that person once scoffed at. I consider myself pretty fit, but I was huffing and puffing the entire day. I'm convinced Shelby was feeling the same way, but if she was she never let onto it.
Bruised ego aside, the day was incredible. Kaitlin and Richard are beautiful people and put on a wedding filled with so much genuine love and joy. It was an honor just to have been a witness to it. Hope you enjoy a few of our favorite frames.
Also, if Kaitlin and Richard look familiar it's probably because you've seen them here.
